In 1958, Jerome Robbins' NY Export: Opus Jazz, a "ballet in sneakers" that was a sketch for West Side Story, became a smash hit and toured around the world. The film, shot on location in NYC with dancers from the New York City Ballet, re-imagines the original ballet for a new generation. Winner of the Audience Award at South by Southwest.
